Sprouts in a Jar

(This page is a work in progress, updates to come!)

Using a reused glass jar, cheesecloth, seeds, and a little water, you can grow fresh, nutrient-packed sprouts in just 4-5 days. While there’s plenty of tutorials online already, it can still feel intimidating get started.

I created this zine starter kit to make it as easy to try out sprouting as possible.

In this zine, you’ll find:

  • All the materials (minus the jar) for getting started.
  • A full step-by-step guide for sprouting.
  • Tips for reusing jars and cheesecloth safely

For these kits, I used were Nature Jim’s Sprouts Salad Sprout Mix, it contains a mix of Broccoli, Alfalfa, Radish, Clover. You can purchase this online as a mix, separately, or search for “sprout seed variety pack” to try out different seed flavors individual.

Let me know if you have any question or feedback, I’m excited to see people’s results!
