BeamBots Workshop

Doodlebots is a simple workshop where participants create a little doodling robot. Each Doodlebot consists of a cardboard cube, markers, motor, battery and connecting wires and tape. A propeller is attached to the motor shaft to create the vibrating motion that allows the Doodlebot to jump around and move across the paper, causing the markers to draw on the paper. The erratic and organic motion of the Doodlebot across the paper allows participants to discover how motors can bring life to the inanimate.
